CARDIOXPLORE is an opportunity to get hands-on experience while working with leading Research Scientists in a state-of-the-art laboratory at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.

This twelve-week intensive program is focused on introducing you to the fundamental concepts, lab skills, safety procedures, research methodologies, and translational nuances found within cardiovascular science. This opportunity also gives you the chance to meet and gain invaluable input from Dr. Christopher Glembotski, Director of the Translational Cardiovascular Research Center.

During this twelve-week, intensive volunteer opportunity, you will be paired with a lab mentor who will share walk you through experiment techniques and methods as well as develop your lab presence in preparation for future endeavors. Apply today, and step into the world of translational research!

Application Requirements
  • Attain at least a 3.0 grade-point average (unweighted)
  • Junior year student in an undergraduate program or higher
