Join us on Wednesday, April 8, for a special Faculty Development Conference — Optimizing the Learning Environment: Creating a Culture of Feedback Conversations — featuring Ruth Franks-Snedecor, MD, assistant dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME) at the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix, and Ebrahim Talaee, PhD, assistant dean for Assessment and Evaluation. They will share best practices for formative and summative assessment of learners.

Invitees include all UME and GME faculty educators, fellows and residents. Snacks will be provided.

Learning Objectives

1. Describe best practices for providing written and verbal feedback for medical student and resident trainees. 
2. Discuss key features of optimal formative and summative assessment strategies in Undergraduate Medical Education and GME settings.
