Join us on Wednesday, May 20, for a special Faculty Development Conference — Best Practices of Identifying and Supporting Learners in Distress featuring Stephanie Briney, DO, associate dean of Student Affairs, and Donna Johnson, PhD, an assistant clinical professor of Psychiatry at the college. They will share their perspectives on recognizing when a learner is in distress and how to best assist them.

Invitees include all UME and GME faculty educators, fellows and residents. Snacks will be provided.

  1. Describe best practices for identifying and supporting learners in distress at the UME and GME levels.
  2. Discuss key resources and points of contact for supporting medical students, residents and fellows during their training.
