Born with a congenital heart condition, Dana Floyd was inspired to pursue a career in cardiology research to help others.
Floyd is a member of the Hale Laboratory, which is directed by Taben Hale, PhD. Through their research, they are striving to discover treatments for fibrosis, the scarring of the heart tissue.
