Welcome to the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Family Medicine Residency located at Banner Desert Medical Center! I am thrilled to introduce you to our new program: we are a 6/6/6 program with our first class planned to start with the 2025 academic year. This program represents an exciting expansion of the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix Graduate Medical Education to the East Valley of the Phoenix Metropolitan. We aim to provide community-focused, innovative, and comprehensive family medicine training by leveraging the academic strength of the College and the well-established clinical excellence of Banner Health.

We anticipate receiving formal accreditation from the ACGME in October 2024, at which time the program will become available in ERAS.
