Vision
To improve the health of the Arizona community and reduce health disparities through excellence and leadership in family medicine education, practice, scholarly work and community service.
Mission Statement
To fulfill this vision, we will provide community focused, innovative, and comprehensive family medicine training aimed at creating compassionate, adaptive, well-rounded physician leaders, achieved through these tenets:
- Clinical Practice: Provide high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective, and innovative patient-centered care to a diverse population through interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Medical Education: Develop and support a safe and evolving learning environment for students and residents.
- Research and Scholarship: Promote the discovery and dissemination of knowledge important to clinical practice, education and the organization of health care.
- Community Service: Work in partnership with individuals, community organizations and government to address unmet health care needs in our community.
