The Faculty Advisory Council is a standing committee at the UArizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. It is charged with providing a voice for the faculty in the shared governance of the college and is advisory to the dean. The council meets monthly and with the dean quarterly.
The council examined the StandPoint™ Surveys data and determined priorities for the following academic year. Recent topics have included receiving regular feedback, creating a sense of accomplishment, fostering teaching excellence and increasing transparency.
