As southern Arizona deals with an excessive heat warning this week, doctors are cautioning about the impacts it has on the human body. Murtaza Akhter, MD, an assistant clinical professor of Emergency Medicine with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, discussed the potential health effects of extreme heat can have.
