Save the date: White Coat Ceremony 2025 is on Friday, July 18 in the North Ballroom of the Phoenix Convention Center, 100 N. 3rd St., Phoenix, AZ!
The White Coat Ceremony is a cherished rite of passage celebrated at medical schools nationwide. This event symbolizes the beginning of a lifelong journey in medicine, as new students don their first white coats, marking their commitment to compassionate care and excellence in their chosen profession.
During the ceremony, students are welcomed by faculty and community members and recite a class oath together, pledging to uphold the core values of the medical field. Embracing collaboration, integrity, and a dedication to service, they embark on their path to becoming physicians.
Each medical student received a personalized white coat from the generosity of contributors to the White Coat Campaign. We thank the members of the College of Medicine – Phoenix faculty and staff, community, and longtime friends of the University of Arizona for their support and contributions to this important tradition.
