Career Interests: Dr. Reynolds completed combined residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (2021-2025) before pursuing additional training in Psychiatry. His primary clinical interests are Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Inpatient Adult Psychiatry, while his broader clinical and academic interests span the intersection of physical and mental health, with particular attention to determinants of health that are often overlooked in traditional medical practice, including urban form, the built environment, and lifestyle medicine. He is especially interested in how these large-scale structural and behavioral factors shape health outcomes across the lifespan.
Why the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: After completing four years of residency training here in Med-Peds, I came to really value the institutional culture and wanted to continue training in a place where I have developed strong professional relationships with colleagues and mentors. I have also grown quite fond of Central Phoenix, not least because of the surprisingly excellent vegan gastronomy scene.
Hobbies and Personal Interests: Travelling around the world with my wife, cooking great vegan food, reading across a broad range of topics, and spending as much time as possible with any and all dogs.
