Overview
The Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, in partnership with Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, is committed to delivering exceptional, compassionate cancer care while advancing the science of surgery through research, education, and innovation. Our highly specialized team of fellowship-trained surgical oncologists provides expert care across a wide range of complex cancers – including gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, breast, melanoma, thoracic, head & neck, urology, and plastic reconstruction – offering the most current, evidence-based surgical options.
Our division plays a vital role in multidisciplinary cancer care, working in close collaboration with medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and supportive services to provide patients with personalized and comprehensive treatment plans. We are actively engaged in clinical trials and translational research that aim to bring the latest discoveries from bench to bedside.
