The Office of Marketing and Communications handles all news media inquiries and coordinates all external and internal communications for the campus; further illustrates the impact of our faculty, staff and students through photography and videography; helps to manage and promote college-hosted events; and maintains/updates the college's web presence.

The office's role is to share the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix's story to the greater community and to raise the profile of the college as a premier, student-centered research institution. The office includes marketing professionals, storytellers and brand managers who promote the University and the Phoenix campus in an integrated fashion.

In addition, the Marketing and Communications office in Phoenix provides coordinated communications with external groups to introduce and familiarize them with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and raise the awareness of the medical school and the University’s presence in Maricopa County. The office promotes the U of A to business, community and governmental leaders in the area. It is specifically involved in coordinating the expansion of the Phoenix Bioscience Core, including the U of A Health Sciences colleges.
