Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix
In addition to serving as a clinical home, Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix is the primary clinical site for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and the flagship facility for the Banner Health network of hospitals. It is a nationally recognized academic medical center focused on the coordination of complex clinical care, research and education. It has a rich graduate medical education community, hosting a wide range of residency and fellowship programs.
Banner – UMC Phoenix has more than 600 beds; 100 OB/GYN physicians and advanced practitioners on staff; 5,000 births annually; and 300 maternal transports annually.

Banner Desert Medical Center has more than 600 beds, 50 OB/GYN physicians and advanced practitioners on staff, and 4,000 births annually. Banner Cardon Children's Medical Center at Banner Desert Medical Center offers specialized care for children with conditions of the brain, spine and nervous system.

Banner Estrella Medical Center has more than 300 beds, 40 OB/GYN physicians and advanced practitioners on staff, and 5,000 births annually.
Phoenix Children's Hospital
Phoenix Children's Hospital is a state-of-the-art, tertiary care, standalone children’s hospital. As Arizona’s first standalone children’s hospital, it has long been a leader in providing quality care to both primary care patients and children with significant medical needs. Staff and faculty from all major pediatric surgical and medical subspecialties work at the hospital; and the hospital is a tertiary care center for the rest of Arizona. During residency, significant exposure to subspecialty pediatrics will occur while at Phoenix Children's.
Phoenix VA Medical Center
The Phoenix VA Medical Center provides acute medical, surgical and psychiatric inpatient care, as well as rehabilitation medicine and neurological care to the more than 322,002 veterans who reside in the facility's primary service area.
