Overview
The Division of Sexual Health, Menopause and Vulvovaginal Disorders is dedicated to improving quality of life by addressing the full spectrum of conditions that affect sexual wellness, comfort and confidence. Our team provides individualized, evidence-based care for patients experiencing challenges related to sexual function, menopause and chronic vulvar disorders.
We take an integrated approach to managing sexual dysfunction — including issues of pain, arousal, orgasm and desire — using innovative, multidisciplinary strategies that combine medical, behavioral and procedural therapies.
Our menopause program offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for peri- and postmenopausal symptoms, including both hormonal and non-hormonal options. Therapies include FDA-approved medications, compounded bioidentical hormone preparations and hormone pellet insertion with estradiol and testosterone, tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
We also provide expert care for chronic vulvar and vaginal conditions, including lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, chronic vulvovaginitis, vulvodynia, vestibulodynia and genitourinary syndrome of menopause. Treatment focuses on restoring vaginal health, balancing the microbiome and reducing inflammation as key components of long-term wellness.
Our division offers advanced procedural and surgical treatments, such as vestibulectomy and perineoplasty, as well as in-office therapies using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to support clitoral and vaginal health and decrease autoimmune inflammation.
Every patient receives compassionate, confidential and comprehensive care designed to restore comfort, function and well-being.
