Curriculum
The primary residency training sites include Banner Payson Medical Center, Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix, and Banner Children's at Desert. Most of the resident training will occur at Banner Payson Medical Center. About one third of the training will occur at the Banner University Medical Center. Pediatric hospital focused experiences will occur at Banner Children’s.

- Orientation and Community Medicine (Phoenix and Payson)
- Rural inpatient, emergency medicine, OB, newborn, and surgery (Payson)
- Outpatient Gyn and pediatrics (Payson)
- Urban inpatient, OB, and newborn/NICU (Phoenix)
PGY-2 Year
- Rural OB and newborn, inpatient and surgery (Payson)
- Outpatient pediatrics, cardiology and sports/ortho (Payson)
- Geriatrics, nursing home, and health systems (Payson)
- Urban inpatient, OB, ICU and hospital procedures (Phoenix)
- Urban ENT and ophthalmology (Phoenix)
- Addiction medicine and elective (Phoenix and Payson)
PGY-3 Year
- Rural OB and newborn, inpatient and surgery (Payson)
- Urban OB (Phoenix)
- Pediatrics ED (Mesa)
- Electives (Phoenix, Payson or Mesa)
