Undergraduate: University of Arizona
Medical School: University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson
Career Interests: Combined Med-Peds Hospitalist, Adolescent Medicine, Mental Health, Migrant Health, Caring for under-resourced and under-represented communities
Personal Interests: Outside of medicine, I love exploring northern AZ with my family (where we can escape the heat and enjoy some beautiful trails), as well as learning different dance styles - my current interests include West Coast Swing and Salsa! You can find me buried in a book, and exploring different cultures through their music.
Why U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: I had an incredibly rewarding experience during my away rotation at College of Medicine – Phoenix, and was fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know the program from the inside out. The genuine warmth and compassion from the faculty and residents was so palpable and made me feel at home. I was also empowered by the strong presence of women as physician leaders in academia.  I resonated with the program's commitment to serving vulnerable populations, and the overall dedication for patient-centered care. I am so excited I get to return home and serve the community that I grew up in, and feel so grateful to be a part of this program!

Personal Interests: I spend most of my free time rock climbing and bouldering, either outside or at the gym. I prefer being outside and enjoy hiking, camping, and slacklining. At home, I’m usually brewing kombucha, watching movies, or tending to my houseplants. On my days off, you can often find me at a coffee shop or playing games at a brewery with friends.
Why U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: The program has a strong commitment to training physicians who serve diverse and underserved communities. During my interview, I felt a genuine sense of support, warmth, and shared purpose among the residents and faculty. I was also excited by the program’s strong pediatric training and the opportunity to learn in a setting that sees a wide range of patient backgrounds and conditions. This program felt like a place where I could be challenged clinically while also growing as an advocate and teammate.
