The Division of Infectious Diseases offers comprehensive inpatient consultation services for all specialties. This includes general infectious diseases consultations, as well as dedicated service lines for solid organ transplant patients and patients in critical care units (surgical ICU, medical ICU and cardiovascular ICU).
Our services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with after-hours phone consultations as needed.
For outpatient care, our physicians see patients at the Banner – University Medicine Infectious Disease Clinic. The clinic provides care for all types of infections — including HIV and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) — and hosts a dedicated Valley Fever Clinic every Wednesday. In addition, the clinic provides select immunizations and injectable treatments.
We offer specialized care for patients undergoing evaluation before transplant surgery and those requiring infection management after transplant in our transplant clinic.
We are also in the process of establishing a new service dedicated to orthopedic infections.
