The Division of Infectious Diseases is dedicated to providing exceptional clinical training and fostering robust scholarly development among our fellows. Our mission is to cultivate the next generation of outstanding clinicians, academicians, and researchers while promoting a culture of excellence grounded in competence, integrity, and fairness.

Fellows receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of a broad spectrum of infectious diseases. They care for a diverse patient population across Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix (B-UMCP), the Phoenix VA Medical Center, and affiliated institutions. Our programs emphasize academic excellence, innovation, and leadership development.
