Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act May Help Address the Physician Shortage

The UArizona College of Medicine – Phoenix hosted Congressman Ruben Gallego and Arizona health care leaders at a press conference yesterday to discuss the Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act, aimed at increasing the number of residency positions by 14,000 over seven years to help address the shortage of physicians.
