Overview
We are pleased to welcome U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix medical students to our department for their clerkship rotations. Core clerkship experiences are four weeks in length.
How to Apply
For third-year Core Clerkship U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix students:
- Step 1: Submit an Inquiry
Contact Briannon Wilfong via U of A email or Banner email to inquire about availability for a core clerkship rotation at Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix.To maximize scheduling opportunities, students are encouraged to submit their request 90 to 120 days before their desired rotation timeframe.
- Step 2: Availability Review
Upon receiving your inquiry, Briannon will coordinate with the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix (UACOM-P) Scheduling Team to verify rotation capacity and determine whether placement is available during your requested dates.
- Step 3: Final Approval and Onboarding
If rotation capacity and availability permit, the UACOM-P Scheduling Team will contact you regarding:- Confirmation of your rotation placement
- Finalized rotation dates
- Required onboarding steps
All onboarding and credentialing requirements for Banner Health will be completed through MyClinicalExchange.
Important Deadlines
- All MyClinicalExchange onboarding requirements must be completed at least two weeks prior to your rotation start date.
- Approximately one week prior to your rotation start date, Briannon will send:
- First-day reporting instructions
- Orientation and welcome information
- Additional rotation details as needed
