The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix is much like the city it calls home, emerging. Being relatively new, having opened in 2007, the campus maintains the close-knit feel that makes it such a welcome destination to new and prospective students. Yet that is not the only thing that makes the culture here so special.

The college remains steadfast in its pursuit to provide quality medical education. This is demonstrated through its desire to stay up to date with the latest academic, health care and technological trends, as well as in its partnerships with the health care community and the City of Phoenix itself.

Looking to the future, the college is eager to continue embracing the ever-changing landscape of health care in the 21st century. More importantly, the college will continue to strive to not only produce exceptional physicians, but well-rounded and quality individuals, as well.

A Student's Perspective

I chose the College of Medicine – Phoenix because of the support I felt. It's such a unique atmosphere. From the community, the culture, the curriculum, they really put their students first. And you don't feel like a number; you feel like you're part of a family.
