Full-Spectrum Training:
Empowering Rural Communities

As a developing rural residency program sponsored by the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, the Payson Family Medicine Residency Program will provide a unique and enriching opportunity to shape the future of family medicine in the heart of Arizona. Our residency program seeks aspiring family doctors who wish to immerse themselves in the training necessary to provide full-spectrum care to rural communities. This will be the first residency program at the Banner Payson Medical Center, a rural critical access hospital only 90 minutes from Phoenix, Arizona.

Our Mission is to improve the health of rural Arizona communities by training highly skilled physicians adept in resource-limited settings.
