Pathway Scholars Program
The Pathway Scholars Program (PSP) is intended for Arizona residents who desire to pursue a career in medicine. The program is designed for students who have experienced unique or greater than average challenges in preparing to become competitive medical school applicants. Students earn a Master of Medical Studies in this one-year program.
Clinical Research MS
The Clinical Research MS program addresses the need for highly qualified clinical investigators conducting clinical research. Students in the the program will learn to design, conduct and analyze the results of research projects with human subjects — with the goal of translating findings into better treatments and patient outcomes.
Clinical Translational Sciences PhD
The Clinical Translational Sciences PhD is designed to provide a strong foundation in clinical translational sciences for post-baccalaureate and postgraduate students. The program attracts both clinicians and researchers who want to explore how basic science can inform clinical practice, or how basic science can elucidate observations from clinical treatment. The PhD program incorporates study of a minor area that complements the student’s CTS training, and each student undertakes a major research project that is reported in the dissertation.
Clinical Translational Sciences MS
The Clinical Translational Sciences MS Graduate Program is designed to provide a strong foundation in clinical translational sciences for post-baccalaureate and postgraduate students. Students complete foundational coursework in CTS, including training in research ethics and skills needed to be an effective research scientist, with further coursework customized to meet the student’s health science research interests. Each student completes a thesis reporting the specific research they undertake.
