Rural Track – Billings Clinic
We are excited to be developing a rural surgery training track that will begin in July 2022. This will be a one-year experience for a PGY4 resident at the Billings Clinic in Montana. The experience will include exposure to general and trauma surgery at the Billings Clinic, training with subspecialty service lines — such as neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics and OB/GYN — and exposure to practice in several critical access hospitals throughout Montana. The goal of this one-year experience is to provide the training needed to enter practice in a rural setting. More information to come as this training track is further developed.
