It is the policy of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix to provide students with the opportunity to challenge pre-clerkship block examination questions at a designated time post-examination. The student must attend the exam challenge session in order to submit a challenge. Exam access is only permitted during the session. A successful challenge will result in credit given to all students who answered the correct option(s).
Block examination grades and the final block grade are finalized post-challenge.
Note: Students eligible for a block retake or remediation examination can challenge retake or remediation examination questions. If a student has an approved exam date change and takes the block exam after the first and/or only review session has occurred, they will not be eligible to challenge. Only students who have completed all portions of the exam can attend and participate in an examination review session.
