Student Exposure to Potentially Infectious Agents and/or Hazardous Materials Policy

It is the policy of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix (COM-P) to follow the University of Arizona Health Sciences Student Exposure to Potentially Infectious Agents and/or Hazardous Materials Policy and procedures.

Upon matriculation, and annually thereafter, each student participating in any COM-P sponsored educational program must complete the Student Occupational Exposure Interactive Learning Module and obtain a Student Occupational Exposure Procedure Card from the Office of Student Affairs and carry it at all times. Students who are not up to date on the module will not be able to participate in clinical activities.
