It is the policy of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix that the college classroom is intended for students who are enrolled in a course* for an ongoing learning experience with peers and faculty. That learning experience may be impacted by the presence of any individual not enrolled in the course* (“visitors”). Therefore, visitors are allowed to observe the delivery (e.g., lecture, small group, clinical skills) of a session only with prior approval of the course* director, with the exception of observation for program evaluation. No visitor may attend more than two sessions in any given course* without the approval of the vice dean, undergraduate medical education/or designee in addition to the course* director. Any student who is not currently enrolled in the course* but has previously passed the course* is considered a visitor under this policy.

Course*= Any component of the curriculum where a grade is earned.
