It is the policy of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix that students who delay entry into clinical clerkships by more than ten months are required to take a clinical refresher experience offered by the doctoring course faculty prior to entering Year 3. For MD/PhD students, the Transition to Clerkships course will serve as the clinical refresher as long as it is completed ten months or less before the entry into clerkships.
