Philosophy
The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Vascular Neurology fellowship is a one-year ACGME accredited program based at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. Our program is designed to meet the requirements for the ABPN Vascular Neurology Board Certification.
We will prepare physicians to understand and use vascular neuroscience to evaluate, diagnose and manage cerebrovascular disease while becoming leaders in providing evidence-based, compassionate care to a diverse population with wide-ranging cerebrovascular pathology.
We aim to graduate vascular neurologists that can provide skilled, comprehensive care for stroke patients with broad pathology; neurologists that are valuable to their patients and the communities in which they will work and who strive for continued professional and personal development while they practice.
