Resident	Brief Bio
Andrew Guggenheim, MD	Undergraduate: University of Miami Medical School: George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences Why Arizona and U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: Arizona has become a second home for me. My partner is from Arizona and her entire family reside in Arizona making it the perfect location. Arizona has so much to offer, and I look forward to continue exploring the state. I chose Banner for the incredible faculty on staff and the sense of family and community they fostered within the residency program. Banner emphasizes high quality patient care for the diverse community it serves, and in doing so develops well-rounded and culturally competent providers.
Yerina Hur, MD	Undergraduate: Arizona State University Medical School: University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Why Arizona and U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: moving to Phoenix in high school, I quickly grew to love the area and knew I wanted to continue calling it home. After doing my sub-I here, it became clear that Banner – Phoenix would be the best fit for me - both professionally and personally. I chose Banner because of their supportive environment, emphasis on resident wellness, and dedication to a well-rounded training experience.
Natalie Moore, MD	Undergraduate: Purdue University Medical School: Creighton University Why Arizona and U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: After coming to Arizona for Medical School I fell in love with the city of Phoenix and the amazing people and patients here. During my interview with U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix I connected so well with the faculty and residents. I felt reassured by the faculty and residents that this program cared for their residents, patients, and community in a very genuine way. Being part of a compassionate and well-rounded team is so important to me and I am very excited to find that here at U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix.
Andrew Oreshkov, MD	Undergraduate: Loyola University Chicago Medical School: Rush Medical College Why Arizona and U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: I've been excited to join U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix and spend my free time outdoors. Banner was an easy decision for me given its incredible faculty, emphasis on quality patient care with diverse clinical training sites, robust psychotherapy training, and the positive culture at the program.
Jade Parker- Character, MD	Undergraduate: University of Southern California Medical School: University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Why Arizona and U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: I am originally from Los Angeles and moved to Phoenix for medical school since I did not want to be too far from family. Once moving to Phoenix, I quickly fell in love with the beauty of the desert, the community and variety of dining/entertainment options. Due to Phoenix being so rich in culture and socioeconomic diversity, I knew I wanted to continue to serve this community. After completing my clerkship and Sub-I here, I was impressed with the quality of teaching and the emphasis on wellness. UA-PHX psychiatry program goes above and beyond to support their residents and I knew this was the place I wanted to be!
Vrishti Shah, MD	Undergraduate: Arizona State University Medical School: University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Why Arizona and U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: I chose Banner because of the positive and inclusive culture of the residency program. Throughout my 3^rd and 4^th year rotations, it was clear that the residents felt well supported by the faculty in exploring their diverse interests within Psychiatry. The program's emphasis on resident wellness and strong training was a key factor in my decision. Arizona is home to me, and I love the vibrant culture, making Banner the perfect place to train!
