  • Toxoplasma gondii persistence: a balancing act between neurons and parasites

Objectives

  1. Define the major clinical manifestations of Toxoplasma gondii
  2. Identify the capabilities of neurons to mount cytokine induced anti-parasitic defenses
  3. Understand how Toxoplasma gondii encystment in neurons is host adaptive
